Jägermeister’s SAVE THE NIGHT Fund 2026: FAQ

About the Fund

What is the SAVE THE NIGHT Consumer Fund?

SAVE THE NIGHT is Jägermeister's global platform dedicated to driving positive change in nightlife. Born in 2020 as an emergency response to the pandemic, it has since grown into a movement protecting  nightlife and safeguarding its future. The Consumer Fund is its yearly open call, running since 2022,  inviting individuals and collectives passionate about nightlife to apply for funding to bring their ideas to life.

How much funding is available?

A total fund of EUR 156.000 will be allocated among one or more winners, with each winner receiving a  portion based on the project’s scope and needs.

What kind of projects can be funded?

Programmes, events and venues that go beyond a single night and have a meaningful impact on the  nightlife community in at least one of our focus pillars. Projects should be looking for more than a  traditional corporate sponsorship. We're not looking for one-off parties, or projects that only need cash  sponsorship.

What are SAVE THE NIGHT’S focus areas?

We identified six focus areas to guide everything we stand for and do with SAVE THE NIGHT. They  reflect our commitment to creating nights that are safer, inclusive, future-focused and truly unforgettable.  We are looking for projects that contribute to one or multiple of the below focus areas. We have  included examples. These are just for reference; please don't feel you project has to mirror any of  the provided examples.

1. Diversity

Supporting the inclusion and representation of underserved groups within nightlife.

*Note: Underserved communities in nightlife are groups of people who face additional  barriers to accessing, participating in, or shaping cultural and social spaces (like clubs,  music scenes, or events), resulting in lower representation, fewer opportunities, and  reduced sense of belonging.

Examples: Diverse recruitment practices, inclusive programming, representation in  marketing and communications.

2. Accessibility: Reducing physical or sensory barriers that may prevent people from participating  in nightlife as artists, staff or guests.

Examples: Accessible venue design, sensory adaptations, clear accessibility information,  inclusive event formats.

3. Community: Creating opportunities for people to come together, build connections and develop  a sense of belonging through nightlife.

Examples: Providing opportunities or training for local talent, improving affordability, etc.

4. Safety: Making nightlife safer for staff, artists or guests.

Examples: Guidance on safety protocols, physical safety solutions, staff training

5. Environmental Sustainability: Reducing the environmental impact of nightlife

Examples: Renewable energy-powered venues, sustainable transport methods, reusable  cup schemes, car share innovation

6. Responsible consumption: Encouraging responsible consumption of alcohol.

Examples: Awareness/educational campaigns, availability of alcohol-free drinks, free  drinking water

Does my project need to involve alcohol?

No. Your project doesn't have to involve Jägermeister or alcohol. We actively welcome alcohol-free ideas  that drive positive change in nightlife.

Eligibility

Who can apply?

Only applications submitted by applicants of 21 years and over, will be considered, regardless of their  place of residence. Applications may be submitted by individuals, collectives, or legal entities.

How much experience do I need?

That depends on the scale of your idea. We'd like to see proof that you're capable of delivering it and can  actually pull it off.

I’ve applied before. Can I try again?

Yes, but don’t copy and paste your previous application. Update it, make it realistic for launch in 2027,  and consider how your local scene or community might have changed.

I’ve won before. Can I apply again?

Previous winners from the SAVE THE NIGHT Fund are excluded.

Is there anything that makes an applicant ineligible?

Jägermeister will not support projects that promote political parties, election campaigns or partisan  political agendas.

Applying

How do I apply?

Fill in the application form, covering your project (including budget, communication plan and timeline) plus  a short questionnaire.

What is the application window?

21 October 00:01 Central European Time up and until 1 December, 23:59 Central European Time.

Is there help available if I get stuck on the application?

Yes. Please contact savethenight@thebridgeclub.xyz and allow 5 working days for a response.

Selection & Timeline

How are winners chosen?

Applications are assessed against a transparent set of criteria including impact, feasibility, relevance to  nightlife and alignment with SAVE THE NIGHT's focus areas.

The strongest 50 ideas get shortlisted, and those applicants are asked for some extra information,  including a required video of themselves. This gives us the chance to see the person behind the  application: your emotion, your passion, what drives the idea.

From there, we narrow it down to 25 and submit these applications to Jägermeister's SAVE THE NIGHT  Advisory Board for final evaluation. They score each one and select the winner(s).

When will I hear back?

All applicants will hear back by email in January 2027:

with good news if you've made the top 50, or that you didn't make it this time.

Winners are publicly announced in March 2027.

Will I receive feedback if I'm not selected?

Due to the high volume of applications, we're unable to give individual feedback to every applicant. That  said, our team will do their best to offer feedback where possible.

Receiving & Using Your Grant

This is not a grant programme focused solely on funding. It is a platform designed to help impactful  nightlife ideas grow through financial, strategic, content and communications support.

Can funding be withdrawn?

Yes. Jägermeister reserves the right to suspend or withdraw funding if a project breaches applicable  laws, contractual obligations, safeguarding standards or the values outlined within the programme.

How and when is the grant paid out?

Jägermeister doesn't transfer the full grant amount in one go.

It's paid out through one of the following:

● In instalments directly to the winner

● Via invoices submitted directly to the brand by external suppliers or individuals working on the  project

What can the grant be used for?

The grant must be used honestly and reasonably towards realising your project. This is why a budget  breakdown is required: it should clearly show that the money is being used to deliver the project, and that  each cost is necessary.

Can we budget to pay ourselves?

Yes, personal fees for your time can be included in the budget. All costs related to executing the winning  project must come from the assigned funding, including ideation, production, promotion and any other  associated expenses such as advertising or bookings.

Are there reporting requirements?

Yes. Reporting requirements are discussed in your first meetings with us after being announced as a  winner and confirmed in your contract. These generally include agreed deadlines for the project and any  events, plus content deliverables so we can share your project publicly.

Are there tax implications?

Recipients are responsible for understanding and meeting any tax obligations relating to the grant they  receive in their country of residence. We recommend speaking with a tax adviser if you have questions  about how your grant may be treated locally.

Support & Visibility

Will I get support beyond the grant?

Yes. Winners get support beyond the money itself, including:

  • PR support
  • Content and storytelling support
  • Strategic support
  • Connecting you to relevant local teams and individuals who can support the project

That said, we look for winners who bring a level of professionalism and project management skill, and  who are able to work independently to deliver their project.

Will my project be publicised?

Yes. Your project will be featured on Jägermeister's global channels and SAVE THE NIGHT's own  channels. Our PR team is also on hand to help tell your story and connect you with relevant media outlets where we see fit. Part of your allocated budget is set aside for documentation, as sharing your project and  inspiring others is a key part of the grant.

WHY WE NEED TO SAVE THE NIGHT

The night is more than what happens after dark. It's the place where identities are found, rules are bent, strangers become family, and tomorrow's culture is born while the rest of the world is fast asleep. But nightlife is fragile. While electronic music might seem booming, the scenes, clubs and communities that nurture it often live on a razor's edge. Since 2020, we've seen a rapid rise in club closures. The silent years of the pandemic left us with an inheritance of financial pressure and shifting demographics. Inflation and soaring rents are forcing spaces to shut their doors. And while safety remains a pressing concern for many the ecological cost of festivals and clubs keeps climbing.

WHY JÄGERMEISTER

There would be no Jägermeister without nightlife. Our legacy and culture are shaped by it. Built in close collaboration with the people who bring life to the night: the passionate artists, bartenders, creatives, fans and venue owners who've made it theirs.

Since its launch, the SAVE THE NIGHT initiative has supported thousands of people, ideas and projects in 60+ countries. By backing these communities and initiatives, we're aiming for safer and more inclusive and sustainable spaces.
